Doctors Have Made A Discovery on First Lady Jill Biden And Now She’ll Undergo Surgery

The White House announced that First lady Jill Biden will have outpatient surgery next week after a discovery was made during a routine cancer screening.

The Bidens’ personal physician at the White House, Kevin O’Connor, released a statement that explained: “During a routine skin cancer screening, a small lesion was found above the First Lady’s right eye.”

“In an abundance of caution, doctors have recommended that it be removed,” Dr. O’Connor said.

President Joe Biden and Dr. O’Connor have come under fire in recent years for failing to administer a cognitive exam and release the results to the American public.

Many Americans have argued that Biden, who is the oldest president in U.S. history at 80 years old, is showing obvious signs of age-related dementia.

He often struggles to complete coherent sentences and finds himself unable to recall basic information.

Even former Obama White House physician Dr. Ronny Jackson has argued that President Joe Biden must undergo a cognitive exam by Dr. O’Connor.

In the fall of 2022, Biden notoriously searched the room for a GOP congresswoman who had passed away months earlier.

“Jackie, where’s Jackie?” Biden asked about Rep. Jackie Walorski who died in a car accident a few months earlier.

When asked about this mental lapse, the White House issued a public statement that claimed Biden was looking for her in the room because she was “on the top of his mind.”

Jill’s upcoming surgery is known as Mohs surgery. This process will remove and examine the tissue.

Jill Biden is also America’s oldest sitting first lady at 71 years old.

Johns Hopkins Medicine revealed that the surgery is usually performed on people with a “suppressed immune system.”

The surgery is scheduled at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center in Bethesda, Maryland. This will be Jill Biden’s third trip to the hospital since her husband took office.

Mohs surgery “involves cutting away thin layers of skin. Each thin layer is looked at closely for signs of cancer. The process keeps going until there are no signs of cancer.”

“The goal of Mohs surgery is to remove all of the skin cancer without hurting the healthy skin around it. Mohs surgery allows the surgeon to be sure that all the cancer is gone.’

“This makes it more likely that the cancer is cured. It reduces the need for other treatments or more surgery.”

In 2021, Jill Biden went to the hospital to have an object removed from her foot after stepping on a sharp object while walking on a beach in Hawaii.

Also in 2021, Jill Biden underwent another outpatient procedure.

She was diagnosed with COVID-19 in 2022 with what is now called a “rebound” case. She tested positive while on yet another vacation with her husband in South Carolina.

Though she didn’t have symptoms, she remained in isolation for five days and received a course of Paxlovid treatment.
