Representing Anivive, a veterinary drug enterprise, Gronkowski visited the Capitol. Anivive is in the process of developing a vaccine against Valley Fever. This fungal disease, stemming from the Coccidioides fungus, affects dogs. The fungus Coccidioides is prevalent in the southwestern region of the U.S. and some areas of Mexico.
While Gronk was at the Capitol, he was approached by Joel Gibbons, a reporter from Daily Caller. Gibbons managed to pose to Gronk what many consider to be the most contentious question in the sports world currently.
