The Democrats are upset. They’re upset that a GOP politician used their main strategy to win elections: lying and cheating.
It appears that incoming Rep-elect George Santos (R-NY) is a “fraud.”
Apparently, he didn’t graduate from Manhattan’s Baruch College.
Apparently, he’s NOT Jewish and his maternal grandparents did NOT flee persecution during World War II.
Apparently, he DIDN’T work directly for Wall Street firms Goldman Sachs and Citigroup.
But he won his election. He beat a longtime Democrat activist named Robert Zimmerman, flipping a congressional seat on the edge of New York City red.
